Pot & Saucer - Copenhagen 35 cm
Also called the Castle Pot since it is inspired by a pot made at the royal castle of Fredensborg in Denmark in 1860.
Details & Dimensions
Over time, production moved to smaller potters in Copenhagen, where it was made until plastic pots began to grow in popularity in the 1960s. Steffen Berg found his inspiration in a beautiful pot he saw years ago in a former nursery. Today, the potters make the pot in a small village near Luca in Tuscany.
These high-quality terracotta pots are essential to the plants that we love. High-quality materials and craftsmanship mean these pots will live on from one generation to the next. For plants, proper drainage gives their roots room to breathe, and superior clay holds in the moisture they need. Durable pots are designed and created for both indoor and outdoor use. If you take good care of them, they can be passed down from generation to generation.
The product is handmade. Variations in color, shape, and size may occur.
Over time, the untreated surface will gradually change its appearance and create a natural patina. The pot has a drainage hole in its bottom to prevent overwatering.
