An Awesome Aviation-Themed Wedding

We were so excited to be included in this aviation-themed styled shoot. Everything down to pleated details in the wedding dress was inspired by the fabulous and out-of-the-box venue, the On The Marc Events at The Danbury Hangar [to verify].

For the invitation we designed a crisp, white invitation with swooping black hand calligraphy details, airplane motif included. The envelope liner makes a bold statement with featuring an image of a vintage plane printed on metallic silver paper.  

The groomsmen's gifts were truly in line with the aviation theme. We made adorable gift tags that said "let the adventure begin" to go with the airplane shaped bottle openers plus leather bound passport and luggage tags. An awesome canvas bag with leather trim held craft beers and the other smaller gift items. And the grooms' signature drink: "Straighten Up and Fly Right", mixed up with Aviation Gin!

At the reception, which was held inside the airplane hangar, cocktails were served with what else, airplane cocktail sticks and a massive self-standing floral arrangement held the calligraphed place cards hung from delicate ribbons like they were flying in the air. 

White, modern tables were set with bold white arrangements enveloped by the awesome planes... what a backdrop! We cannot think of a more dramatic and sky high wedding than this. We love how every detail tied together seamlessly.
