Engaged... and the Holidays!
Creating a custom watercolor duo is so much fun! When planning this engagement party invitation with the mother of the groom we took the festive holiday season into consideration. For the December 1st party we incorporated pine cones, white pine sprigs, holly with its red berries, and lagustrum with its blue berries.
And how perfect since the inspiration colors are red and navy blue. Add these design elements to perfectly crisp navy engraving, and soften with an elegant red tissue envelope liner...gorgeous, just saying.
An invitation sets the tone for an event. If you've been following me, you know I say it all they time. And, let me show you what I mean. My client presented the invitation to the florist and the cake maker and - - voila! Check out some of the floral stylings of Forever In Bloom. And, in a moment of delicious perfection, check out the cake from La Tulipe Dessert. Eating the invitation is not literally what I think about when I'm designing, but what a great idea!
