From Tee Time to Lifetime With These Wedding Invitations

At Glen Arbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills, New York, the fairways stretch in manicured perfection. This serene setting was no coincidence for Emilee and Thom’s wedding venue, as both are avid golfers who adore the game.

The wedding invitation design was inspired by the gentle hush of the course in the early morning when the air carries the faint scent of fresh-cut grass. We went with lush green and cream variations, building layers of shades and textures. The wedding invitation suite is adorned with some of our favorite late-summer flowers, like dahlias and roses.

The invitation slips from a velvet paper sleeve letterpressed with blooms. E&T’s duogram softly shimmers on a golden wax disc that functions not as a seal but as a pull tab to release the cream colored outer ribbon. We love the interplay of die cut paper shapes from the more structured rehearsal dinner card to the very beautiful, intricate floral edges of the main invitation. The deckled edge of the event details card peeps out in a cool, powder green. Both the details card and invitation are lavishly textured with blind embossed florals.

We were delighted to work with Brett Cameron and Deanna Marano, the incredibly chic ladies of La Maison Fête event planning and design. For E&T’s celebration, they created a gorgeous outdoor plein air experience under a late summer tent with loose garden layers of color and texture. Each table was styled just a bit different.

Bespoke complemented the vibe with place cards and menus, bar signs, cocktail napkins, and beautiful matchbooks that recall the green velvet texture and elegant shapes of the wedding invitation suite.

Warm burlap bags full of goodies feature E&T’s graceful duogram, a charming welcome message and even a Shhh, do not disturb sign for guests sleeping in the day after the festivities.

It’s impossible to pick favorites, but one of the elements we truly loved creating for E&T was their escort card display. We had the design of the invitation’s outer sleeve made into wallpaper. Popping from the green wallpaper, we brought in the evocative hues of lush, end-of-summer dahlias to create floral seating cards. As each friend and family member plucks their name, this is a moment where the guest experience goes from functional to fabulous. We love getting super creative here and making each wedding guest feel special.

Emilee and Thom, may you go from tee time to a lifetime of happiness!
