A Romantic Summer Wedding in Westchester

This romantic and breathtaking styled wedding took place at the Glenmere Mansion in Chester, NY.  From it's lush meadows, formal gardens, sweeping marble staircases and gracious terraces, Glenmere evokes European-style elegance. For us, the romantic mood is totally off the charts. 

The soft pink stucco exterior is the the inspiration for this Truly Bespoke wedding suite, with the palest blush paper as the foundation. Roses from the garden were watercolored by hand across each piece of the suite. Hand calligraphy of flowing script with gracious flourishes sweep across the page like the bride's veil in the gentle summer breeze. And, tiny accents of gold ink are a direct pick up from the Japanese hand printed paper.

The details of the suite are carried forward throughout all the Day Of Details: the escort cards, the place cards, the menus, the table numbers and the party favors. For many of our Truly Bespoke couples we use these details to create custom stationery for thank you notes. 

As the couple share the same first letter of their first names, we used that to create a custom square wax seal. Pure gold sealing wax, picking up from the ink details in the suite, was used for this gorgeous detail. And - wax seals are not just for envelopes! We used them here to accent the menus, and often use them on other pieces as well.

The mansion's soft pink exterior was also the inspiration for  the  gorgeous flowers by Kerry Patel Poetic Florals. White and pink and pale apricot flowers could be seen everywhere you turned, bringing the the whole vision together in the most lovely way.

The bride wore not one, but two beautiful dresses from Jessica Haley Bridal. The first was a silk taffeta, strapless ballgown with the sexist slit in the front to show just the right amount of leg. While the second gown was more form-fitting with lace details and a tulle skirt that flowed freely to the ground.
