In the film Father of the Bride, Steve Martin portrays a dad going through the ups and downs of wedding planning. Heartfelt and often hilarious, (looking at you, Martin Short, as wedding planner Franck Eggelhoffer), the story highlights the rollercoaster of emotions experienced by a loving and dedicated father.

It’s an important reminder that family relationships are such a huge part of a wedding. Logistics, planning and details can seem overwhelming, and we see that first hand, but it’s amazing how far expressions of simple gratitude can go.
