It's simple: details matter. And so do our relationships with our clients. We want to be sure you are comfortable, excited and informed about each step of the invitation design process.
Step 1
Our process begins with information gathering through our design questionnaire. Yes, it’s the details, but it’s also inspiration images. Please include as many as you can - anything that captures moments and mood and detail.
Once received, we schedule a call. This initial call is important as it helps us understand your timeline, budget and the details of your wedding. While hearing all about your vision and what you desire in your stationery, we will also share the details of our process and pricing structure. This call is prior to us meeting in person or over zoom to confirm if we are the best fit for your needs and budget before moving forward to an in-person meeting Design Meeting.
Step 2
Design Meetings are scheduled for 60 minutes with one of the Truly Bespoke design team. We want to make sure to use our time together most productively so we encourage you to bring all “decision makers”with you at the appointment, if possible.
This meeting is when we have the opportunity to hear all about your wedding. We want to listen as you talk about all the details you already have planned or will be planning, the overall look and feel of the day - and most importantly, the little details that will make your wedding, and therefore the stationery, truly bespoke.
This meeting is an essential part of the stationery design process! Seriously, it’s so much fun! We will start to sketch out concepts; go over wording for each piece that will go into the suite; we will select papers, ink colors, print process, sketch out ideas. The selections we make will be based on the budget decisions we made on the initial phone call and information pulled from the design questionnaire.
Are you ready to schedule a Design Meeting? Woo hoo! The design meeting is confirmed with a small, non-refundable deposit. This fee will be applied towards your final invoice.
Step 3
Hopefully we have lit your heart on fire and you are just as excited as we are to put the sketches into proofs for you. But first, a quote must be agreed upon.
A quote will be sent within 3 business days that outlines decisions that were made in the Design Meeting. When the quote is accepted a 50% deposit is required to get started on your proofs.
