Santa Monica Beach Breezes for Katie and Alex: As featured in Style Me Pretty

With family and friends in Europe and stateside, Katie and Alex enjoyed not one but two beautiful weddings.The first was in Greece and the second in Santa Monica, California, at the Hotel Casa del Mar. Both celebrations were kissed by blue skies and beach breezes.

Katie and Alex’s wedding stationery is truly bespoke, overflowing with florals in lush colors. The suite includes pillowy cotton letterpress pieces and watercolor drawings.

All kinds of wonderful symbols were incorporated that represent their story: sunny lemons and bountiful pomegranates of Greece, a dove of peace, and a little rascal peeping from behind the rose bushes. The delicate florals are inspired by Katie’s romantic Monique Lhuillier dress. 

As swoon-worthy a couple as Katie and Alex may be, the show might have been stolen by their adorable furry “best man,” Piper. His lovable mug made it onto the invitation as well as the cocktail napkins. Woof!

For Katie and Alex, the pale melon, whisper blue, and soft So Cal yellow tones carry through to the tabletop floral design and all the essential day-of details that make the guest experience so special: menus, table numbers, cocktail napkins and even personal stationery for thank you notes.
