We just adore this silkscreen wrapping paper. We love to use them as drawer liners also! The sizes of full, untrimmed sheets of handmade paper may vary slightly.
They are printed in the Japanese tradition. A foundation. A foundation of Lotka (a bush, native to the Himalayan mountains). Each piece holds an array of saturated colors, each laid individually by hand onto the paper. Drying racks are shuffled to allow a newly applaied layer of color to harden before the next layer of color is applied. These are made by skilled craftsman, no machines, no fumes, no trees - only trained artists making beautiful papers from a plentiful natural resource.
