Destination Mexico! Tropical Wedding Invitations
Lyssie and Josh celebrated with all the color and passion of Mérida Mexico, the vibrant capital of the Yucatán Peninsula. Bring on wedding invitations with a radiant palette of fuschia, orange, and purple. Are you dreaming in full color? Don’t be shy!

The couple shared, “This city holds a special meaning to us and has captured our hearts since our very first visit.” The bride’s family is from Dallas while the groom hails from Germany with family all over Europe. Guests gathered at the elegant Hacienda Xcanatun Angsana Heritage Collection for this international wedding weekend.

We wanted to make sure the invitation was a work of art that would kick things into high gear right from the start. Bright white flowers and hand calligraphy spark contrast against the deep dark pink of the envelope. Opening the envelope is an experience in itself with the exquisite die cut floral flap giving way to a profusion of tropical floral color.

Key Details: Letterpress invitation, fuchsia foil stamping, die-cut envelope flap, hand calligraphy, destination wedding, tropical florals, hand calligraphy, whimsical motifs.
Each piece in the suite is a unique shape, stacked and layered, so there is a lot of drama in the reveal. Along with the floral motif, there is a play on hand-painted Mexican tiles. Many of the tiles feature hidden meaning for the couple. Can you spot the disco ball, mermaid, fleur de lys, and snowboard?

The color, vibe and energy of our designs carried through the guest experience from beginning to end. If you think wedding invitations need to be understated, we hope this hot ticket design inspires you to think again.

You don’t have to be married in Mexico to choose a power palette like this one. You just need to let your inner color goddess run wild and free - and we’ll run with you! L&J ~ les deseamos mucho amor y felicidad (we wish you much love and happiness)!
