Set Sail for Nantucket With These Wedding Invitations
Are you dreaming of a beautiful beach inspired wedding invitation? Soak up the delicious details of Carly and Ted’s Nantucket nuptials and feel the cool ocean breezes!

We took our design cues from the quintessential Nantucket color vibe of soft blues and whites and also leaned into the island’s famous fog. Echoing the island’s nickname “little gray lady of the sea,” we created a detailed silhouette of the Nantucket Harbor marina.
The fine lines of the design were letterpressed in an understated light gray blue. The invitation is wrapped in a watercolor that gives us a view through the hydrangeas to the harbor. Each suite is tied with natural twine in a series of sailing knots.

To highlight the various event locations, we designed a details card with sweet watercolor icons to give each place its own signature.

After C&T’s ceremony at the iconic First Congregational Church, they received a shower of rose petals. Then the happy couple and their guests paraded down the cobblestone streets of quaint Nantucket town to celebrate at the iconic White Elephant Hotel. Not only were the hydrangeas in full bloom, but C&T drove onto the beach in the perfect hydrangea blue Bronco 4x4.

Spending my childhood summers on Cape Cod, it was always an adventure to sail or ferry over to Nantucket with its endless bike paths, unspoiled beaches, and carefully curated aesthetic. The island offers a New England charm that never fades - or fades only as much as your favorite pair of blue-jean cutoffs or “Nantucket Red” khaki pants.

Working with C&T brought back joyful memories and sparked dreams of summer festivities yet to come.
Happy sailing, C&T!
