Luxe, Lavish and OTT in Newport
What happens when you want your wedding stationery to be a full-on sensory experience? We’re talking lush texture, details you can see and feel, and yes, even a gorgeous, heady scent. Get ready for drama and all the feels!

When Brittany and Rick told us they wanted “over the top” luxury for their entire wedding, we were intrigued.
"I wanted to go beyond the traditional,” Brittany shared. “I wanted our save the date and invitation to give our guests a feeling of the experience to come. Shari and Monica got our vision and listened and brainstormed with us. I brought the idea of a caviar spoon and they pulled it off so beautifully. Everyone said it was the most amazing invitation they had ever received.”

Luxury can be expressed in many ways, as can the feel of a coastal location like Castle Hill Inn in Newport. Blue yes, but which blue? The seaside, yes, but how? Looking at Rick’s Italian sports car parked outside the studio, I knew we needed to shift the impact into high gear.
We steered Brittany and Rick toward heavyweight paper in a handsome navy with gold engraving and gold beveled edges. Our calligrapher added the wedding date to the mother-of-pearl caviar spoons and then we hand tied them in a net of gold thread around the save the date card.

We suggested a clever call-back in the invitation: “I’ll be there with my caviar spoon in hand” was the “yes” RSVP. Bespoke loves a wink in just the right spot as luxury should never feel stuffy.
For the invitation we designed a blue velvet sheath to enclose the entire suite. Slipping out of blue velvet - can we just say sexy? The sheath was tied with satin ribbon and pearls - what says ocean better than actual pearls? While assembling the suites, we scented each invitation, adding to the sensory experience.

"Baccarat Rouge 540 is an elevated, unisex fragrance that Rick and I personally both wear,” Brittany explained. “We played with so many ideas and loved how Shari brought it all together. Opening the invitation got everyone excited to come to the wedding. There were so many little details that felt truly special.”

Thanks, Brittany and Rick! We loved going OTT with you and look forward to hearing where life takes you with the top down and the wind in your hair!
