Manhattan Storybook Romance

If your wedding reception is at the New York Public Library, surely your escort cards will be pulled from a vintage card catalog spilling over with flowers and your cocktail menus will come right out of a book at the bar.

Here’s a love story you won’t want to put down!

College sweethearts K&P were married at historic St. Patrick’s Cathedral, an architectural monument dating back to 1879. The image of the bride and her father at those sculptural bronze doors literally makes our hearts skip a beat. Princess Di, anyone? Or Fraulein Maria marrying Captain Von Trapp?

The celebration was held at another NYC landmark, the New York Public Library. Located in the heart of the city, the magnificent Beaux-Arts building is full of old school romance.

While we took our inspiration from the library, our designs are anything but “by the book.” For the invitations we picked up on the green ceiling of the atrium. It’s such a special green, at once soft and strong. The original hand painted watercolor of the happy couple driving up Fifth Avenue in a classic car couldn’t possibly be more charming.

K&P, wishing you all good things as you write your next chapters together!
