Savannah and Tim at Cipriani

Soaring ceilings and hand-painted frescoes set the stage for Savannah and Tim’s elegant wedding celebration at Cipriani 25, the famous venue on Broadway in Lower Manhattan.

A New York City landmark, the dramatic space was originally designed as the headquarters of the Cunard Shipping Lines in the heyday of steamship travel. The building is a stunning example of Italian Neo Renaissance architecture.

The coral tones and giltwork of the interior domes inspired our rose gold color story. We focused on the extraordinary bronze doors of the main entrance to create the laser cut buckle that adorns the invitation. The high, arched spaces were the inspiration for the envelope liner.

Mother of the bride Toni Donahue shared: “Shari identified the theme and was able to create something truly special. There were a number of people who said, ‘This is the most beautiful invite I’ve ever seen.’ They're sophisticated people whose opinions I respect, so those comments meant a lot to me.

“I was so appreciative of Shari’s eye for color and felt very confident in her taste. The invite and even the save the date set the tone and mood for the party to follow. I love it when things all tie in together. Working with someone who is so experienced, who knows what works, I felt like I was in the hands of a very knowledgeable and creative person.”

Thank you, Toni! We loved partnering with you!

Savannah and Tim, in the spirit of the Cunard voyages of yesteryear, we wish you clear skies and fair winds as you “set sail” into married life together!
